This collection of images was made in remembrance of the millions of victims who faced persecution during The Holocaust. The images were submitted to the United States Holocaust Museum and placed on exhibit among other students' work on the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, also designated as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The images utilize mixed media, including photography from Holocaust monuments around the world and words from The Book Thief, a novel by Markus Zusak.
