Welcome to the Bahá'í Gardens in Málaga, Spain. We welcome anyone, regardless of religion, to come learn and grow with our community, as we worship, socialize, study, and reflect.

Tasked with designing a religious environment that tells the story of that chosen religion, I chose to study the Bahá’í faith. The environment had to be based upon the doctrine and canon of an actual religion but could not be based upon the traditional or existing structures associated with the religion. The environment had to convey the story of the religion through form, proportion, interaction, scale, and visual aesthetic. The design of the space facilitates interaction that enforces traditional observation of the chosen religion. This was an individual project created solely by myself.
